Motion UX

Motion design, or motion graphics, blends graphic design and animation to create engaging content, drawing from principles of design theory, animation, psychology, and technology. At its core, motion design leverages the science of human perception, such as the persistence of vision, to create the illusion of continuous motion. Techniques like keyframing establish pivotal animation points while easing controls of acceleration and deceleration for a natural flow. Proper timing and spacing are essential for conveying the desired mood and impact, ensuring movements feel organic. The use of physics concepts like gravity and inertia helps enhance realism, even in abstract visuals, making motion design both an art and a precise technical discipline. For this particular type of design, I use tools like After Effects, Animate, Premiere Pro and Cinema 4D. Over the years, I have loved being a motion designer because each second feels like breathing life into my design.
