About Me
My path into product strategy started with a question I didn't yet have words for: why do some experiences feel effortless while others create friction? Growing up, computers and games were where I first noticed this, the difference between interfaces that drew you in and ones that pushed you out. That early intuition about how design shapes behavior became the lens I've carried ever since. At Deloitte, it evolved into a methodology: translating user research, behavioral data, and business constraints into product decisions that move metrics. What began as a child's curiosity about interactivity is now a professional discipline -- understanding how people and technology meet, and designing that intersection intentionally.

WHO I AM
A passionate explorer — chasing creativity through art, music and discovery
I find myself most alive outdoors, trekking through valleys and hills, chasing experiences that connect me with something larger than a screen. Growing up, I split my time between academics, soccer, and cricket, a balance that taught me early how competition and teamwork sharpen each other.

Music has been a constant thread throughout. As a guitarist in school and college bands, I was always more drawn to intricate scales and fingerpicking than simple chord progressions, fascinated by what a single note can express. Jimmy Page and David Gilmour shaped how I listen; Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin shaped how I think creatively.
Jim Morrison introduced me to poetry as a form of presence, and it stuck. I've written my own verse for years, drawn to works that sit with difficulty rather than resolve it quickly. Poe's brooding precision, Owen's unflinching witness, Frost's quiet ambiguity, Homer's scope. Huxley's 'The Doors of Perception' pulled me toward philosophical literature and reflective practice, which I've maintained ever since through meditation and a disciplined fitness routine.
Orwell's '1984' was formative in a different way. It sharpened my instinct for questioning assumptions, anticipating what people need before they can articulate it, and thinking carefully about what it means to build responsibly. That instinct has followed me into product strategy more than any textbook.

WHERE I'M FROM
Calcutta, the beginning of my Creative Journey
I was born and raised in the city of Kolkata, the capital of British India (Calcutta). My ethnic origin is from Punjab, a northern state known for its agricultural wealth. This colonial legacy of Kolkata is evident in its grand architecture, such as the Victoria Memorial, St. Paul's Cathedral, and the Writers’ Building. It was a cradle for modern Indian Literature and Art. Kolkata's multicultural ethos, shaped by its historical communities contributes to its unique charm. Its blend of colonial heritage, intellectual vigor, and traditional vibrancy continues to make it a city of unparalleled cultural depth. I have explored regions in India as a traveler. I have traveled India across Agra, Rishikesh, Kasol, Dehradun, Mussoorie, Digha, Goa and remote villages of Himachal Pradesh like Kalga, Pulga and Tosh. I wish to continue traveling and unraveling India's never-ending landscape!
I received primary and high school education at a Christian Brothers' school St. Joseph's College, founded by Edmund Rice of Ireland. The school is nestled in the heart of central Kolkata and was founded in 1848. Having studied as a student for a period of 13 years right since kindergarten, it has been my second home. I pursued higher education at another catholic institute in the same city, St. Xavier's College (University of Calcutta). It was founded by Jesuit priests in 1860 and named after St. Francis Xavier, who traveled to India in the 16th century. Having stayed in Calcutta all my life, I was well-oriented with its historical depth. I also worked at a fashion startup while pursuing my Master's Degree. After graduation, I decided it was time to explore another cultural powerhouse in India, Hyderabad.

The "City of Pearls" has a lot in store. Renowned for its architectural grandeur, including landmarks like the Charminar, Golconda Fort, and Chowmahalla Palace. The city's cosmopolitan culture reflects a blend of Hindu, Muslim, and Persian traditions, creating a unique Indo-Islamic character. After graduating in 2020, I was employed by Deloitte as a
Work-from-home hire due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I eventually moved to Hyderabad as things eased out and continued to live and work at Deloitte's head office in India until I left to Pursue my MBA in Technology Strategy and Product Management at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

WHAT
I VALUE
Curious at mind, driven by experiences
If there is one thing I truly value, it is experiences. With an adventurous and curious nature, I am naturally drawn to exploring new dimensions of human life, whether through the beauty of natural landscapes, the richness of diverse cultures, or the nuances of perspectives, languages, and rituals. I am deeply interested in the essence of experiences; the passions, beliefs, values, ethics, and virtues that shape how we live and perceive the world. I humbly believe that life is the sum of the experiences we undergo.

Guided by Western and Greek philosophy, I hold that ethics, integrity, and virtue define our humanity. For me, conscience and consciousness are intertwined, shaping a life led by thoughtful reflection and analytical inquiry. My curiosity keeps me from being confined to a narrow comfort zone, allowing my personality to remain adaptable and open to new adventures. This drive continually propels me toward fresh experiences, learning, and personal growth.

My passion for experiences naturally led me to become an experience designer, innovator, and product specialist. By deeply exploring human behavior, culture, and perception, I gained insights into what truly resonates with people, enabling me to design meaningful and impactful products. This outlook drives my technological and business acumen, allowing me to leverage AI and emerging technologies to anticipate user needs, create intuitive experiences, and drive transformative change. My curiosity and dedication to understanding experiences fuel my work in building products that not only solve problems but also redefine how people interact with technology and the world around them.
