Modwee is a fashion brand owned by the Phonex Group. As a Design Strategist, I played a key role in shaping the brand’s identity over the course of a year. My work spanned repeat pattern design, croquette development, print and social media content creation, and web design. I also developed logo variations and established a chic, contemporary color palette to align with the brand’s aesthetic.

Rooted in women’s empowerment, Modwee’s visual themes were crafted to resonate deeply with its female audience. Collaborating closely with a team of fashion designers, I helped create seamless digital repeat patterns that were later printed on fabric for apparel production. This experience provided me with valuable exposure to the fashion industry and broadened my perspective as a design thinker, blending strategy, creativity, and storytelling into brand expression.

Brand Strategy

Brand Strategy involves the development of a visual and conceptual identity that embodies a brand's values, character, and messaging. This process includes a range of components such as logos, color palettes, typography, imagery, and comprehensive style guidelines. The primary objective of brand design is to establish a unified and impactful image that connects with the intended audience, promoting recognition and trust. An effective brand design distinguishes a brand from its rivals and guarantees uniformity across all marketing and communication platforms. Since each brand has a different set of requirements, working on branding truly fulfills the desire to create something new and customized. Each visual identity is unique, and that is what drives me to be a part of branding as a professional. I have used Illustrator and Photoshop for all my print and digital branding designs.

X-Teddfod

This project was a mock event branding campaign for a school music festival, where I handled all aspects of the design independently. My responsibilities included creating flyers, letterheads, business cards, brochures, posters, and a 3D visualization of the event venue. Working solo gave me the creative freedom to experiment with themes, patterns, and color palettes, allowing me to refine my visual storytelling skills.

Guided by my design professor, I developed cohesive event creatives and presented them to a panel of guest lecturers through both printed materials and a PowerPoint presentation. The process of conceptualizing and pitching the event as a complete brand experience made this one of my most memorable and formative design projects.

Print and Digital

Here are a few other designs I developed as a student and as a professional freelancer. From logo design to posters, backdrops and marketing content, the design experience has been diverse.
